Steve first became involved in theatre 17 years ago when he accepted an invitation to become follow spot operator for KC Theatre Company. Intrigued and enthused by what he saw on stage, he entered an open audition and landed his first role as Max in 'Hans Christian Anderson' at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking. Since then he has performed in numerous principal and chorus roles for KC Theatre Company, Pyrford Little Theatre, Feet First Productions and Fleet Players. In 2002, Steve founded the Debut Theatre Compay to encourage amateur performers to participate in the production of new 'debut' material. Following the critically acclaimed production of 'BIG - The Musical', Steve was invited by John Lynch of Rose Tinted Productions to assistant stage manage 'Hedwig And The Angry Inch' at the Brighton Festival in 2004 before helping John Lynch establish the Janus Theatre Company in 2005. |
