Mark fell in love with the Space Vixens in Edinburgh many years ago, and has been besotted with them ever since. He has seen the show countless times from Oslo to St Austell and never tires of the cheap innuendo, disco beat, or seedy glitz. His website www.glitterboots.co.uk pays homage to the show in all its forms and previous productions, and shows what happens when you get seriously sad.

He joined Rose Tinted Productions and then the Janus Theatre Company for the 2004 and 2005 productions of 'Hedwig And The Angry Inch', taking on various stage management roles for the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, Milan, and the Wicked Little Towns Tour. It opened his eyes to how exciting and fun musical theatre can be if you’ve got the right kind of show.

This is Mark’s directing debut and it’s rather handy that he knows the show so well. Having thought many times before how he would prefer the show to be portrayed, at last he can - and is grateful for such a talented cast and co-workers to do it with. Now all he has to do is submit that ‘boy in training’ application to makes things complete.
